Welcome to the Adelaide Happy WanderersThe Happy Wanderers is an informal group of predominantly gay walkers that meet monthly and take part in walks, usually in the Adelaide environs. Average attendance is about fifteen people. Walkers range in age between twenties to sixties. Women seeking a walking group can contact Women in the Bush. Celebrating our 30th Anniversary in 2012In 2012 we are celebrating our 30th Anniversary, which makes us the longest known gay social group in South Australia, and possibly in Australia. We’d certainly like you to help us celebrate this milestone by taking part in one of our planned walks or social events over the year. Where:Meet at Al Fresco Cafe, 260 Rundle Street, Adelaide. A cup of coffee is usual before departing, by sharing vehicles to the walk start.
